Company management wants to do this. They see the need to attract pilots, and better pay is the way. ALPA says no. It's not fair to the senior pilots. Your opinion may vary.
Life isn't fair. Most FO's here didn't pay 10k for training. That wasn't fair, but it happened. Raise the freaking pay. If the MEC won't support that, then it is obvious they are not on our side.
