No past hated PapaMike. I was a part of that rapid growth (2004 Hire that Upgraded in 2.5 years), but I don't ever recall 30 upgrades per month. In order for the rapid upgrade to be a reality 9E will need to:
a) Hire new FO's
b) Stop the loss of airframes or grow the fleet in some other way (more 900s).

There will be no mass upgrades or increases in fleet size. That's why Delta is paying these guys $20,000 more a year to sit on their hands. They are not giving them the money because they feel generous.
You guys should make yourself comfortable as an FO for the long haul. You are trading the Captain's chair for cash. You decide what's important.
