All these "elder statesmen" captains we have refer to us as Copilots as if they were still flying their bombers or tankers. If they were a single seat person then sometimes they ignore you completely. Funny when you're PM and you do the preflight checks and then watch the Capt do the same exact preflight checks. I tested the radar and the PWS went off. We laughed about it. Not 2 min later he checked the radar and it went off again. I laughed even harder.
I used to think that we should install brake lights on the back of the main landing gear so that the airplane behind you can see you're stopping. Maybe even add a turn signal.
But then I realized we'd have to endure watching all of these airplanes taxi around with the turn signals on for no reason.
