Whining about air fare to a bunch of regional pilots isn't going to win you any favors though, fyi.
It kind of reminds me one time I was sitting in DFW waiting to work a flight, just sat down in a quite area to read and a person comes up and goes "Wow, you guys cancel for ANYTHING. Seriously what are your minimums?"
I figured it probably was like an Exec Platinum since he knew things like minimums and cancellations so I tried to explain forecast and dispatch limitations as nice as I could and be apologetic.
Until I notice the bright pink "CREW" badge on his bag and some flight attendant union sticker. I was ****ed at this point especially since I had already had a long day. I told him that I had been having a crappy day and I did not need his attitude for something he knows I had no control over.
Best part was, it wasn't even Envoy - it was Mesa.
So yeah, complaining here really isnt going to garner much sympathy.
