What I mean by discreetly contacting someone is to shoot them an e-mail or stop someone in the hallway. Or call. We all know the phone numbers.
This place can be shockingly reasonable if people are making progress and honest efforts to succeed and be honest in their assessment of where they are.
But you made it through and that's awesome. It's hard training and you can be proud of that.
I have 6 type ratings, they are all difficult! Seeing how my partner performed in the checkride and still passed, AWAC can be one of easiest depending on who checks you. I have never seen so much checkairman coaching or redoing a manuver during an ATP/Type ride. To be honest, there is nothing to be proud of.
