]I think LAX is restricted by gate space for the foreseeable future,[/B] especially with more WB time starting this summer. SLC has room for an extra bank and can easily support the West Coast Shuttle being only 1.5 hrs and 1 time zone from LAX/SFO/SEA.

Either way, a 717 base west of the Rockies would be great..
