Flight benefits start on your 16th day of employment (which is your first day of class).
You, your wife/husband, kids, and parents all get flight benefits. As far as buddy passes go, you get 16 per year. Buddy passes are good for one direction of travel, not leg by leg. (so, if you go from MCO to CLT, and CLT to LAX, that is one buddy pass).
