I got offered the 170. I didn't know anyone. I didn't even meet the mins for it. No 121. No turbine. Nothing but a CFI. I was 23 though...
For the 8,384,109,486 time...there is almost no rhyme or reason as to who goes 170 and who doesn't.
And the majority of EMB guys (145 and 170) go to STL with the overflow sent to IAH.
