YMMV based on airframe and seniority and time of year (fall in NYC was pretty slow on the 320). Agree with post above--don't move to NYC on a whim since there are other places that will be available fairly quickly in your first few months. I grew up in Utah so it was no brainer to move from NJ from the start.
