You are asking if anyone has been hired with a greater than 3.0 GPA? I am going to give an emphatic yes to that.

For the second question, based on who I have spoken to at DAL and based on the internal memos and the slideshow posted above, yes, they will continue to count GPA as a large factor. I am going to speculate a little and say that they will continue to view quality of education, quality of flight training, and quality of flight experience at least as co-equals. And under the sub-heading of quality of education, yes, I would bet a paycheck that GPA, university, major, and years to graduate will all factor into play - just like that slide above hints at.
