Go ahead and do that. Read the very simple mistakes that were made by a very experienced crew and then report back to us all about how their experience "mattered" in that situation.
One could argue that a pilot with less experience, say a newbie, would have been less likely to respond with a lax "we'll handle that airborne" when the plane is alerting you, or as you say "going bonkers" on the take off roll.
