I will not answer PM's simply because of the specifics being asked. The one thing that is for certain at any Supplemental Carrier is that the plans change daily. Your best intel (better than mine) would be to ask at the interview or via phone/email to HR if invited to interview....and then realize that things will probably change before you have completed training. If you need certainty then Southern, Atlas, Kalitta, etc is not for you. Sorry. That's the hard truth!
GDO's equals Guaranteed Day Off except when Scheduling drafts you then you will only be "guaranteed" to get paid 4 hours on top of your 60 hour (61 hour B737) guarantee or with your concurrence have that GDO moved to later in the month.
This applies to the B737 only! Base refers to CVG.
a. Long-Call Reserve may be performed at his Base or at home if he resides within three (3) hours drive time (based on the most direct route using Mapquest) of his Base.
a. Short-Call Reserve may be performed at any Company designated location or at home if he resides within one (1) hour drive time (based on the most direct route using Mapquest) of his Base.
There are different times of the day that Short-call is used. Mostly at night when the aircraft are moving.
For the 777 you will usually fly two trips around the planet with up to a week of reserve before or after your scheduled trip. Each lap around is good for about 34-36 hours of block. Almost all trips are flown with a crew of 4 under CFR 121.523. The current longest flight day HKG/CVG is about 16 hours (less in the winter). The longest duty day is HKG/ANC/CVG.....It's a long day. However, you are getting paid while napping in the crew rest area...dozing for dollars.
The usual pairings are:
CVG/BAH/HKG/CVG with an occasional stop in ANC or SHJ or
LAX/LEJ/HKG/LAX with an occasional stop in EMA or SHJ.
Travel to or form your trip is on a work day and is paid at 50% of the deadhead time. Perdiem starts at the ETD of your scheduled deadhead and ends at the scheduled ETA of your deadhead home. Per diem is $60/day. Expect to fly every other day except wherever you are on a Sunday will usually be a two day layover. Some months you may only work 13 days. Others you may work 20+. YMMV.
