Unfortunately those rates are correct. There is an approximate $5hr rate increase in November 2016. It's not uncommon to earn a credit of 100+ hrs a month on the 777. The B737 pilots rarely break guarantee due to the short legs.

Upgrade on the 777 is a long, long ways off for new hires. There are supposed to be another four B737's this year for a total of 8 by year-end. It remains to be seen how many downgraded B747 pilots or guys lacking 1000 TPIC that are in the right seat of the 777 that continue to flow to the left seat of the B737. if that flow stops, time to upgrade on the 737 will shorten.

The B737 program is probably a decent deal if you live in CVG or a single leg commute away. Anything else will probably suck as much or more than it does commuting for any other airline job.

Like I've posted before, I do not know which new hires will get what airplane. If you are coming to SAI wanting international experience the only real choice right now is the 777. If you need turbine PIC you are closer to getting it on the B737. Regardless, you are equipment locked for 3 years unless it is an upgrade from FO to CA.
