I think it depends on your experience and recency as well as familiarity with glass cockpit. I havenīt flown a jet in 4 years (currently flying SE piston with steam gauges) and I didnīt do a practice sim.
I did fly a very similar glass cockpit before so the transition wasnīt hard.
If you are current (even better if in a glass cockpit) and have decent handflying skills, you have nothing to worry about in my opinion. It is a very straight forward sim evaluation with absolutely no tricks.
