What has been done about this?
Why are we allowing this disregard to our contract and work rules?
We all need to communicate this to our scheduling committee.
Gather proof of incidents and file a group grievance.
I have spoken to several pilots about getting this started.
Since this is an anonymous forum, I will not ask anyone to contact me.
I will be talking to the union and hope we have several calls in to work with. Strength is in numbers.
I am willing to volunteer my time, to start this process.
Having been there before, I know it takes some work and perseverance from our part, but the end result is well worth it.
-Imagine knowing exactly where you stand in the callout priority list.
-Strict adherence to the "assignment methodology".
-No out of base reserve coverage.
-No calls during "rest time".
-No breaking up trips to accommodate Mr. G.'s schedule manipulations.
-No open time removal prior to 12:00, two calendar days prior.
-No hiding of open time, to reserve assign, unless only for training purposes.
I would be happy to expand or debate on the above.
The list is long and could get longer, if we all participate.
Mr. G. is NOT our boss!
We fly by the contract.
