Takes some money and the Geek Squad to run some wires and place routers everywhere. It's not there right now because we haven't needed it yet. I'll bet we have satellite wifi routers on every airplane within 5 years that work globally. I'm sure they will break though, so wifi at all gates is probably more likely. Then it all goes to hell when we get a solar flare and we will have to call badflaps and figure out how to plan and file a flight.
