When I was based up in Anchorage I stayed at Ilona's Pilothouse. One night was enough. I went to Northern B&B and was the best choice by far. The lady isn't nosy and the atmosphere was great. She will pick you up and drop you off from the airport ! I stayed there many different times and her prices are great.

I won't have a car while I am in anchorage so something within walking distance or reasonable public transportation. Couches are fine, I don't need my own room.

Thank you!
