Then proceeded to go take a shower/pack etc. Looked at my phone an hour later and saw 3 more voicemails from crew scheduling. Started listening to them and they called to say they had made a mistake and that it shouldn't have been a GS so they had changed it to a whiteslip on my line and I had 10 more minutes to acknowledge the WS. By the time I got the messages they had moved on to the next guy.

So, initially I think to myself, Hey....they owe me something for the fact that I acknowledged an award and then they removed it from my line. Called a friend who knows the PWA pretty well and he directed me to 23.Q.13. which says that Delta can correct errors in GS awards up to 2 hours prior to report without owing the awarded pilot anything. So no GS for me AND I missed the opportunity for a WS of the same trip because I didn't see the need to stay close to my phone since I had already acknowledged a trip for the next day. Nice.

At least I hadn't commuted in for the GS. I hate how the whole "live and learn" thing always seems to cost me $$$

If you have an Iphone screenshot everything when you acknowledge it so you have documentation.
