Timing was everything. An AE came out the week of indoc in Nov so we all put our preferences and I think I found out about 3 weeks later. Even though there was no vacancies posted for LAX 73N B on the Jan AE people still got it because enough people bid out with all the movement happening. I think I already have about 5-6 people junior to me on the list (out of 85-90).
