The company is not just gonna throw money on the table. I wish I could live in this mythical land so many of you do where we get these amazing pay raises just because everyone else is. Now they know commuters can be scared of commuting and others can be scared of scenarios where they could possibly make less money. Throw in fear of a base closure or longer upgrades and we'll have PBS in no time.
Sorry, I don't buy into that negativity. Others (70% of voters) apparently had a different perception of this LOA than you. Everyone I talked to that was voting Yes thought it was fair for us and them. Fear had nothing to do with it.
We have no reason to be scared of anybody. Look at the big picture - looming pilot shortage, airlines growing, making money, mass retirements in coming years. The future is bright for us, unless we give up before we even start.
