I would agree with the others: pick the path of least commute. What about Compass or even Endeavor? a DTW base would be good for you. Like others have said, if you are ex military with no skeletons, you'll be at a major in no time so upgrade times and other things pertinent to the average regional new hire are of less concern to you right now.

Compass is definitely closing the DTW base. DTW is expected to go Jr at 9E and with a $20k/year bonus, i'd think that is your best bet. No need for you to chase upgrade times being prior mil
