Yet that's exactly what we did in C2012. We pilots voted to give up part of our profit sharing in exchange for a raise. Crazy, isn't it.

What about RA's statement would lead you to the contrary? RA is simply poking us in the eye early by telling us we're crazy for giving up part of our profit sharing to fund pay raises...again. He already knows it's a given. Labor risk is completely off the table here.
