I owed $50 bucks in AMT for tax year 2013 with total income just a bit north of 190K, so that's a pretty good wag for where it kicks in.
I was just under $190K for 2014 and I got hit for $88 AMT. I use turbotax FWIW. I googled it and didn't feel like reading a whole lot into it but I saw somewhere that it kicks in @ $175K
