I can attest to the hiring and upgrade numbers for 2015. I just flew with an instructor and he showed me the training schedule for 2015. The new hire classes run every month except maybe 2. The size of each class was different, ranging from 12 to 30, but they added up to 200. And 90 upgrades, mostly classes of 10.

I asked him if he had an inside info on what the new base will be, and all he knew was it'll be in the east coast time zone... So that really narrows that down.

I do like the idea of putting the base somewhere that people might actually want and bid out of Denver to. That would really help the company shrink Denver without doing displacements and moving expenses. The FO list should take care of its self with 90 upgrades, most of which will be from Denver. It's the junior Denver captains that are most likely to get displaced if that does occur.
