As for the type requirement-- I've applied the last two openings with a B-737 PIC type rating.. never heard a word. Then again, I also do not have any 121 or actual 737 time, just have the type from HigherPower...

GF mentioned in an earlier post in this thread about the Vet's points.
When you are not hearing anything back - do you mean that there is actually no contact or do you mean that you are getting the 'non-referred' reply in the mail?
I don't know about the entire system for the JPATS positions, but if it is like our's, you should be getting a reply in the mail that either informs you that you were/were not referred to the hiring board. Absolutely no reply would raise concerns in my head that my application was not properly received/processed.
