You guys would be at the top of the list if I were choosing the interviewees. Definitely the most challenging, least supported (operations wise), demanding flying in aviation. You have the respect of your fellow aviators so do keep working.
IMO, for some reason, 121 major dept.'s want 121 or military experience. Many here have your background. Very few however came straight from GA. Usually some 121 after GA. Best of luck to you!
