Default (question) Pilot to Dispatcher for AA ?

Hello

Assume a corporate pilot, ATP, MEI, college degree, will retire from Part 91 corporate employer at age 55 with a company pension. Approx 5000 TT PIC Turbine at retirement and company (Part 91) check-airman.

kids will be age 15 and 17 at that point, so dad has college to fund. Kids and Wife are "done with" dad's flying career and being gone all the time from home. They put up with it long enough. If dad misses any more soccer games or school activities dad may be out of a family.

Dad/Family lives in DFW area

Is it possible to join AA (mainline AA, not Eagle) as a dispatcher ? What are the requirements ? Do I need to get my dispatcher certificate first ? What school is recommended ?

this will keep me "in the aviation game" and possibly company travel benefits etc, but not gone on the road. Preferred salary in retirement job is 60K or greater, combined with retired pension and I will be at the same income level as prior flying job.

Thanks !!!
