All true, but the E190 guys were told about this arbitrary change in the SG, and not given the option to fly their own line. Everyone knew the pay stunk, but accepted this with a balance of QOL incease. No one mentioned having to sit multiple months on reserve.

The original bid package also stated that check airmen "would bid based upon their relative seniority", so the bid package (information everyone used to base the bid decision upon) was a complete lie, as was the statement by management that training lines would be bought from line holders, not simply given to junior check airmen. The base pay was already known, in addition to JA pay. Now there is pay cut in E190 JA pay (with a pay raise given to the 320). Is it a lot? No, but it is the principle of the matter, as is the sense of deceit.
