Loon that is not quite accurate. We are upgrading '08 hires at the moment. I do not have exact numbers in front of me but there are not very many '08 hires on the list and virtually nobody was hired from June(ish) 08 to mid 11. Upgrade times will drop.
With that said I would not come to RAH as a new hire. In order to upgrade you need to have roughly half of the seniority list behind you. We are having an extremely hard time hiring pilots right now (for good reason). This means that it will be a long road to get from the bottom to halfway up the list. Personally, I recommend going to a smaller airline that has flow agreements. The flow may not get you into class but it may help get senior people out of the left seat and thus out of your way.
