They hired all of 20 767 FOs last year, and we lost 12 FOs in January to a 747 transition class (and that doesn't include attrition). We now have a couple of 767 new hires classes in MIA. The first of those might hit the line for OE late next month, and a recent P2P call said 767 OE was running six weeks behind. This is a train wreck the company has long seen coming, yet has done almost nothing to prevent, except maybe that illegal vacancy award in December.
This is not a unique situation to Atlas, it is at every carrier in the US, minus FEDEX and UPS as they have been doing very little hiring.
