I guess I have never had a waypoint to try that.
Something you could do is put the CDI in OBS mode until you arrive at the waypoint, then change it back(not sure this will be smooth).
If there is a programmable way, I would assume it would be in the FPL page, highlighting the waypoint and then hitting the Menu button. This is my best guess, but I don't recall ever seeing it as an option.
