Not saying it can't be done with a 737 but I fly through IAH to Europe quite often. I use KLM to IAH-AMS at least 5 times per year. Just did it last week. KLM flight 662 (IAH-AMS) is usually a 747 in summer and a sometimes a767 in the winter.
