Bases and getting out west was a big factor for some.
Being able to make more money on the 73 and 320 was also a big factor.
The seat lock was what others, including myself would have preferred not to have.
If they stop hiring in the 756 in April they are going to be hurting bad. IAD 737 base ramp up is going to take a bunch and so will IAD 777.
Although I heard a rumor that they will be combining the 756/76T this summer, earlier than they planned. They would be slightly over staffed if they put EWR together
