Got my 737 type not too long ago as AS and SWA are my top two (while I can be picky for now) thinking this would make me more competitive for both airlines. Reading back on the forum, it seems that some people are saying that having a 737 type is a bad thing for anyone trying to go anywhere but SWA. Agree with the other folks' comments. To add, I heard it directly from one of the chief pilots last year that a 737 type would not help your chances with Alaska. Knowing this, plus being able to explain it like others have said, I don't think will it will hurt you either.
