As we all know, flight crew costs are just a small percentage of the overall operating costs, but yeah it was to teach the "red-headed-unionized-stepchildren" what their place is at Inc.

Believe me, I know regional management will take an audience with mainline management anytime it can, but it doesn't mean the outcome will be any different. They can try and manipulate anything they want but the regional flying is shrinking as mainline grows.
