I'm in the know enough to know that the general perception amongst RAH pilots is don't waste your time applying to F9 because you'll get nowhere - you're not hireable. If true that would be a heck of a grudge to hold. I'd like to be proven wrong.
FWIW, did some further research... Found out that the formal reason for not hiring RAH guys is because of ongoing litigation, and that practice will continue until it's resolved (from the Chief Pilot) or at least that's the excuse they're using. They'll find a new one once that's over... Two CommutAir guys that apparently interviewed recently and will be in an F9 class soon were asked three or four times during their interviews if they've ever worked for any RAH certificate.... Guess I'll be holding out for JetBlue
