Yep, had to do that a few times. On the other hand, here's the complicated procedure for using my iPad EFB when I'm out bugsmashing in my 1953 Pacer:

Step 1) Press Power Button
Step 2) Enjoy seamless VFR sectionals, IFR enroute charts, approach plates, and airport diagrams, all with aircraft position, heading, and altitude clearly displayed on them. Easy-to-enter routing that doesn't require me to remember whether to use one or two dots. 3D terrain depiction that warns me if my route takes me through something pointy above my altitude. Up-to-the-minute datalink weather, notams, and TFRs. Radar and other weather overlays for big-picture decision-making.

Doesn't that just make your brain hurt? Good thing we went with an orphaned, neutered Microsoft product instead of the sort of technology the pilots of 62-year-old single-engine ragwing airplanes are forced to use!

//I kid, mostly. The EFB is pretty nice for what it is, just seems like they reinvented the wheel to get there.
