Doesnt matter if its on the civil side or the military side......it benefits everyone and is a wonderful tool if you are learning an inst. approach for the first time or executing your 1000th approach for currency/proficiency.
Not arguing this point. I agree that simulator time is beneficial and frequently cost effective. My argument is that since I have my required ratings already, the only benefit I see to logging simulator time is if you need it to demonstrate currency for legality purposes. Otherwise, it's fluff on an application.
