Other reserve rules:

Commuter pilots can fly in during the first two hours of the reserve period. Call scheduling, tell them you're on the plane, and to leave a voicemail if there's a trip. You'll be there in time and ready to go.

Line holders can simply drop a trip if there's sufficient reserves available to cover the trip. No trade, no swap, no pick up, just a straight drop.
