I was referring to (and possibly wrong about) gonyon's implied sarcasm insinuating I held a position within our union and was doing more than enough to fulfill communication obligations by talking to people on line.
Oh oops I didn't mean to imply that. I really think it is helpful that you engage with people who don't read any of the information put out by the mec or keep tabs on what's going on in the industry. I try to do it as well in the context of casual conversation of course nobody wants a lecture
