Found out that the formal reason for not hiring RAH guys is because of ongoing litigation, and that practice will continue until it's resolved (from the Chief Pilot) or at least that's the excuse they're using. They'll find a new one once that's over... Two CommutAir guys that apparently interviewed recently and will be in an F9 class soon were asked three or four times during their interviews if they've ever worked for any RAH certificate.... Guess I'll be holding out for JetBlue
Frontier hired one former RAHer, but he had one more airline in between.
So your statement about "ever worked for rah" may not be correct.
Then again, we don't have anyone else picked up by F9.
I understand the concerned F9 pilots because "Midwest 8" left a bad taste in their mouth. Wish everyone got hired according to their qualifications, but it's an unfair world.
I wouldn't mind being a lifer in F9, in my interview there were some Air Force guys that thought F9 would have been a nice stepping stone. They got the nod, I didn't.
Oh well, 8 months and counting until I can reapply.
