I don't know what reserve rules you are looking at but the ones screw scheduling are going by gives them unlimited power over reserves. Your senority means nothing anymore on reserve. They can pretty much schedule you for what ever they want.
I think the challenge for us pilots is that the new reserve rules make it nearly impossible for us to look at the schedule and see if a trip is being b assigned in accordance with policy. We can see buckets, seniority, and call first, but not those other reserve criteria that take precedence over seniority and call first...
