Again it is the first minute not the last. If you miss something it is because you let the timing rush you. If it takes more than an hour to get ready each time then the time needs to be increased. If we continue to do it on our own time the company will never change the parameters.

Again, showtime is not the last second - it is the first second. If the FO is just giving it a cursory glance it is probably because he has flown with you before and knows you have spent the last 3 hours preparing for the leg.

More time at the hotel instead of sitting at the ramp, instead of just going out to sit and wait. This job is so much better if you are proactive, whether it is on company time or not.
Why don't you tell us who you are so we can check with your FO's to see how much they really appreciate you?
