Actually, it's both sides holding on to legacy ways. The kicker is everyone thinks it's the other side and that the other side is wrong or messed up. Just as some say the 737 training is lacking I hear the same on the other new hire platforms. It's a failure of leadership to me.
It may be and that sh*t needs to stop ASAP. I don't care which side did or does what now - we need to change as a pilot group for the better. It appears we will have to do it alone until MGT catches up if ever.
