Dude. Get a grip. Many of the captains you fly with sat as engineers for nearly a decade. After 5 plus years I was three from the bottom at the entire airline and was happy because I'd finally been recalled after more than a 4 year furlough. And you feel "jumped on"? I truly hope that no one ever has to deal with what those of us hired in the 200-2001 time frame dealt with, and you are entitled to say your piece, but without context it just comes across as entitled whining.
