I got hired low time at another airline in 2011, called to active duty military in 2012, law changed while I was gone, now I need to get to 1500 to go back to being an FO again. I am right there if I use my sim time, all the other regionals I have interviewed with will count it. PSA won't, recruiter said I am likely to not make it through training unless I have 1500 hours in airplanes. Guess I need to go fly a 172 on VFR days for another 2 months so that way I will maximize my chances of making it through CRJ 900 ground school.
