She told me no, and basically said "I would do much better in training and have a much higher chance of being successful by gaining the additional flight hours." I thought that was a bold statement since she doesn't even no me. She then told me once again that I would be placed in a pilot "pool" and then even went on to say that being "in the pool is a good thing." She ended with that "I would be hearing from them within the next few days and from that point forward I was to inform them when I reach 1450 total time and they would give me a class date." It was the most vague and confusing ending to any job interview I have ever had. That was last Wednesday, still haven't heard anything as of today.
They said you'd have a better chance of succeeding if you had 1500 hours? Ridiculous! What about the riddle guys and other aviation majors who can get hired at 1000. My buddy interviewed at 1200 hours last week and has a confirmed May class date.
