No, doesn't sound like a job for a ALPA rep....maybe someone on the staff who doesn't fly and has an ALPA retirement, but more likely you just have to live with it.

You don't have to live with it at all. DALPA has two excellent people on staff who research these issues. They are busy and it can take a few days but they do a outstanding job. The company has granted them the same level of access that a crew scheduler has in the computer system. They can research every step taken and determine if you or another pilot should have been paid and insure that has happened. 1 800 USA ALPA and ask for contract admin.
You originally said call "Skeds." That was the point I was trying to make. Calling "Skeds" is a rabbit hole....and from the stories I've heard/experienced, not worth the trouble.
Your second take on it is a better one, IMHO.
