The pilot seniority list will become a revolving door made up of those who just want to get a little jet time, a type rating, and move on. Poor morale, inexperienced crewmembers, and the usual lackluster investment in safety and infrastructure will lead to a catastrophic event.

NOTHING about the current working conditions here is tolerable or acceptable long-term. Also, management will NEVER agree to a contract unless they are forced to do so by either the threat or an actual job action. Combine those two, and it can be seen that something HAS to happen this year or it will be sayonara for this pilot group.
