If it doesn't, you will see those who are taking the "wait and see" approach actually pull the trigger and leave for a better life. The pilot seniority list will become a revolving door made up of those who just want to get a little jet time, a type rating, and move on. Poor morale, inexperienced crewmembers, and the usual lackluster investment in safety and infrastructure will lead to a catastrophic event.

NOTHING about the current working conditions here is tolerable or acceptable long-term. Also, management will NEVER agree to a contract unless they are forced to do so by either the threat or an actual job action.
