Listen, most people don't have degrees in the field they end up making a career in and the same goes for pilots. These days I'm not so sure the cost of college is worth it but nonetheless a 4 year degree shows you can set a goal and see it through. You can get a commercial multi and an instructor job in less than a year. A 4 year degree is going to take 3 years minimum even if you work your ass off. Those that have one and some of those that don't both no how much work it takes to get. If it were easy we wouldn't be having this conversation because we'd all have one.
